An ET support group has formed in Vero Beach at the Alzheimer & Parkinson Association. It is led by professional counselor Joan Marie Barringer, M.Ed. who has ET herself and started the first Essential Tremor support group in Washington, DC at Georgetown University Hospital.
The ET support group will meet twice a month and discussion will include self-care, social situations, proper nutrition, healthy habits, medications, doctors who specialize in ET and other topics of interest.
